Do I look black and I am not symbiotic, nor did it bond to me because it wanted to.

Let my hair blow in the wind while I use my awkward looking smile.

Dublin, Ireland

Music flooded throughout the small pub from the live band playing traditional Irish music on stage as the incredibly intoxicated crowd attempted to sing along in nothing but slurs. However, one lone man sat at the bar back on to the rest of the crowd pounding back scotch after scotch. He knew the alcohol wouldn't affect him whatsoever, but he had to do something to look slightly normal and dancing like an idiot certainly wasn't an option.

A tall, thin lady gravitated towards him with a devilish grin showing through her red lipstick. She was without a doubt quite beautiful, but Apathy was not here for a woman, he was just trying his best to be as normal - as normal as an alien-human hybrid could get. He attempted to pretend she wasn't there, but she pulled a stool out next to him and seated herself so that she was looking at him. She spoke, flinging her golden hair back over her shoulder, "What's a gorgeous man like you doing all by yourself?"

Her accent was thick; she was Swedish by the sound of it which certainly explained her figure, golden hair and piercing blue eyes. Apathy laid his drink on the bar and slowly turned towards the lady with a sarcastic, and uninterested look on his face. "Listen lady, I'm just here to enjoy a drink and be on my way."

"Oh you must be Australian!!" the Swedish woman said, widening her eyes as she became even more interested. Then her eyes shifted towards his arms, and she lifted up his sleeves, "You have tattoo's, very nice! You're young, Australian, fit and you have tattoo's...how about you come back to my room tonight Mr. Mysterious."

Just as he was about to respond, a drunk man stumbled in to Ajax, almost knocking him from his stool. Without even apologizing, he turned his perverted gaze towards the mature Swedish woman. "Aren't you quite the piece of skin, I'd love to do so many things to you."

"Get lost you ugly, greasy dirt bag" she said in response. "Now, now, there's no need for that baby!" The drunk grabbed her arm and as he did so, the tattoo's on Apathy's arms became agitated. They began to move slightly, the alien inside was communicating and the living tattoo was how the alien chose to represent itself on Apathy's body.

"She said get lost", Apathy grabbed his arm and looked straight at his eyes as the drunk directed his attention at him. "And who do you think you are Mister tough guy, macho foreigner."

The drunk pulled his arm loose, and drew a knife from within his pocket; Apathy rose from his seat without showing even a hint of nervousness or fear. The tattoo's began moving more rapidly, slithering around his arms, shoulders, and back. "Put the knife down, nobody needs to get hurt here." Apathy began walking towards the drunk, now the surrounding crowd had formed a circle around them as they looked on with interested eyes.

The drunk lunged forward with the knife and with a casual, but lighting quick, superhuman reaction, Apathy sidestepped grabbed the man's outreached arm with both hands, snapped the wrist causing him to drop the wrist and swung him in to the nearest solid brick wall. He crumpled to the floor; it was all over in the blink of an eye and now the entire bar was silent.

Apathy stood in the centre of the intoxicated Irish as they all stared at him; in particular they were now staring at the tattoo's which had practically engulphed his arms in red and black, tribal-like designs. Suddenly the Swedish woman walked up from behind, wrapped her arm around his waist and ushered him towards the door saying, "I think it's time we leave, by the way you never did tell me your name; I'm Sofia."

They were now outside of the bar and headed off, "I'm Marshall, and how about we head back to room after all?" The Swedish lady just smiled seductively and the two went off.
