I like Miles. He has a lot of potential as a character imo... But whenever there's a discussion about him, most of the time, his defenders arguments are just... Urgh. Seriously guys, step up. :/ Both the book and the character do have their flaws and I find many of the criticism valid.
As for the book I hope Hammerhead at least gives a fight before going down and- Oh who am I kidding. At least I got Pichelli's art to look forward to...
As a fan of Spider-Man and his current series I really hope this event doesn't screw him over like the last Civil War.
I don't think it will. By all we've seen so far, they don't seem to be focusing on him that much. And the writer never makes Peter do anything in events so I doubt this time would be different.
Only 1 issue in and I already know I'm going to hate this more than the original Civil War. And the original had some incredibly frustrating and stupid moments in the story.

For me the only good thing about this is Marquez... At the very least we get top quality eye candy. It's nice to see him work with so many characters, I don't think he ever did before.
