@fables87: Not sure why too. From most of the preview art I've seen from the artists on this book have Hippolyta's hair back as black. I don't have a preference either way personally, but I guess black hair would make a bit more sense.

Best "I love my life right now/Mom, I'm in the Justice League" moment.

Yeah, that was great.

This, and the Old Man Logan moment were pretty boss.

Man, may have a new favorite "Wonder Woman looking boss af" moment.

@archizooom: I'm still willing to take a chance on the run as it probably will be a while before we even see or hear about Jason. It needs proper build-up which, like @outside_85 said, severely lacked when Johns dropped the steaming, stinking bomb on the lap of the next Wonder Woman writer.

But I don't see how a brother can be at all good because A) he will be a villain, which Wonder Woman already has plenty of under-utilized ones and it will make no difference between him and her petty half-siblings or B) he will be a good guy/bad-guy turned good who will have immense power and only serves to continue the narrative that Amazons are bad and only a male can save them or some other bullshit.

@ultimatepower6: I agree in that this is one of the few moments where I vastly disagree with the reviews on this site. Batman one to me was the weakest (not bad by any stretch of the imagination, just didn't pack as much punch as the others). This one was my favorite of the titles. I just hope Humphries doesn't screw it up as it goes on.

Superman Rebirth was incredibly satisfying.

Yeah I too am a bit confused why this got 3/5 while Bats got 5/5. This issue had more character and heart with the set-up than the Batman issue, and seemed self-aware in that it's really trying to be setup that actually had a satisfying conclusion. I guess its a matter of preference I guess.

I think this was actually the weakest of the Rebirth issues. But great set up. The others I felt much more character whereas this one, seemed to just be all set up and little character. Still can't wait to see what's next as Calendar Man actually seems like a scary threat.

Future Quest was fantastic. Scooby Apocalypse wasn't a big of a disaster as people feared. I'm looking forward to this title as well. These Hanna-Barbara titles are turning out to be incredibly fun.

I think there should be legitimate discussions on why Star Wars is giving Marvel bigger gains than their usual IPs. This reminds me of the 50's and 60's where comics were falling because people loved sci-fi, that seems to be a trend here. So Marvel is set with that quota (thanks to the Disney teat), but how can DC compete? They are still very much a superhero distributor, which creatively is fine since the picture of the Trinity is basically in the dictionary under the definition of "superhero". But superheros don't always sell as we've seen time and again.

Perhaps we can watch and see if there's also a trend towards graphic novels, which DC/Vertigo and indies are king.

God I hope this means they are still keeping the comics separate from the movie/television universe.

I'll have to watch this before I take a comic site's word for it. This guy would be asking for a death warrant if he put anything less than five stars about Star Wars on a comic site.

That said, I've been hearing good things about it which is great. Just not five-star good things about it and not enough for what the hype was.
