So many good choices! Too bad there's no option to pick more than one.

I was look for Jay and Joan Garrick, but I settled for Hawkman and Hawkgirl. Timeless couple.

Osborne. Hands down. Norman Osborn is a two-faced back-stabber. Dude! - he'll kill your girlfriend just as soon as look at ya! At least The Kingpin is "the devil you know".

Reed is totally The Professor from Gilligan's Island. Kinda bland and one-dimensional. Sue is powerful - probably the most powerful of the team. Not a whole lot of character development going on, though. Johnny is usually one-note, as well: rash, impulsive, headstrong. Maybe it's the Monster angle, but Ben gets the most attention. I may be a tad biased. Aside from Spider-Man/Human Torch team-ups, Ben seems to be the "Batman" of Marvel; who else would carry a title like Two-In-One? Or his own solo title?

I'm curious to see how they manage to tell the story as maybe... what a "period" piece? Set during the '60's space race? How are they going to get all four of these people in a "stolen" rocket launch. That's totally bonkers comics. It works as a comic book story... but how does that work in a film "reality"? A genius takes his girlfriend, her kid brother and his (the genius's) best friend into space on a "stolen" rocket launch... The first film made some kind of sense, with Victor funding the project... Still, a modern take would have some kind of Elon Musk spin. Set in the '60's it would be NASA. I don't think women astronauts came about until the Space Shuttle...

Sorry, I'm just looking for a "credible" Fantastic Four film... If such a thing is possible... I wonder if the FF is just plain unfilmable. Maybe, just skip the origin, and just go with them already in action in a story. Flashbacks to pieces of the origin...?

As long as we all can agree that the Kirby Silver Surfer in much better than the Moebius Silver Surfer. Anything else would be wrong...

I've heard the argument that Christopher Lee would have been a GREAT Ra's Al Ghul... maybe opposite Adam West's Batman. For a big screen Batman sequel... ("What if...?") However, if we're talking an appearance in a possible imagined fourth season of '66 Batman, I've always pictured Ricardo Montalban as Ra's. Yes, typecasting, I know. Khan as Ra's. But that's who I see and hear whenever I read a Ra's story. Not David Warner, no disrespect intended...

"Holy whitewashing!"

Don't go by me... I'm not much for seeing films in the theater anymore due to hearing loss...

A couple friends have enjoyed Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The film was not promoted.

My basic problem with the entire DCEU is that it was founded on quicksand. The MCU had a solid Blueprint. They knew what they were doing. Warner Bros. / DC released Press Release after Press Release announcing new projects. The WB/DC response to the MCU: Phase One Avengers was "we're going to do something DIFFERENT." Darkseid is not so much different from Thanos. I would argue that they are, in fact, quite SIMILAR. My definition of "different" would be to adapt JLA: Liberty and Justice. Or, Justice League: A Midsummer's Nightmare. THAT would be "different".

But, what do I know?

I enjoyed Wonder Woman. I have not seen the sequel. Gal Gadot seemed to capture the spirit of Christopher Reeve in the first film. I understand the director made some poor choices for the sequel. I'm not sure Cavill needed to be re-cast. I found Man of Steel to be bleak. Ben Affleck could have worked. I think it's unfortunate that this cast, and the DCEU seems like a house of cards.

Here's my two cents: I remember when the MCU launched. DC and Warner Bros. created a blizzard flurry of press releases announcing projects. The MCU "blueprint" model worked. Solo movies to build excitement and anticipation to the team film. DC/Warners countered with, "We're going to do the opposite - BECAUSE." We're pretty much witnessed the results.

Darkseid is not different from Thanos. And that was the "different" DC/Warners was attempting.

The Timm-Dini-verse was pretty awesome. Everything after that, not so much. I'm disappointed that DC does not have a single cohesive universe between animation, television and film.

Here's what I would consider "different". Adapting Paul Dini and Alex Ross's JLA: Liberty & Justice. Or, adapting Justice League "Secret Origin". Or, Mark Waid's Justice League: A Midsummer's Nightmare. Regardless of your opinion of Waid, the concept is intriguing. Marvel is pitting it's heroes against "Big Bads" - BIG Bads. Instead of an Injustice Gang or Legion of Doom, why not actually try something different? There could be beats for a slugfest... "Different" to me implies these characters - whoever plays them - flex different muscles that Marvel characters.

End rant.

Wow! Snow White versus Beauty and the Beast! Two of the most innovative films in animation... Wow, that's a tough call. I'd almost want that to be a tie...

Snow White. Because Dopey beats Chip ;)

Shrek 2
