@blindinglights: Kingdom Come, Impulse and The Flash are my favorites by Waid. I really enjoyed The Return of Barry Allen. I got the sense that he knew both Wally West and Bart Allen. I wonder if the amazing job he did with Wally is the reason he was "rested". Waid was one of the writers that gave Wally so much spotlight and a really complete story.

@mimisalome - I'm a big fan of Classic Archie. I think on my bucket list is to go back and build a Classic Archie collection, or at least see what trade collections are available from the '70's and '80's.

@aimless - I'm thinking what Waid is doing with Archie is what Bendis did with Peter Parker. This might be more of an Ultimate Archie. Trying to make the character more appealing to a newer, younger audience.

@nightfang3 = thumbs up!

@black_wreath = Black Lightning looks "grim and gritty". One immediate "red flag" is the violence level. Remember: I'm old school. I think "Smok!" is a pretty cool word to see on the screen when Batman punches The Joker. There's yer shameless Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders plug. I'm hoping that Cloak and Dagger is kid friendly! Same with Runaways. Oh, and HashTag-CyborgIsATitan4Eva!

@peterparkerjr - Spider-sense tingling...? I'll trust that.

@mrmonster - I am surprised every day what my kids watch! I want to see what they think of Cloak & Dagger. It could be "meh".

@rahiem9123 = thumbs up!

I hope Runaways is as good in live action as it has been in comics.

You can't go wrong with the original World's Finest Comics! There's some awesome stuff there. The third one on the list is the adaptation of The Batman/Superman Movie. There's a three-issue World's Finest mini-series that Steve Rude pencilled that's really good. There was a 12-issue World's Finest series that was kind of okay. Superman & Batman Generations is really good! I wish Byrne had gone monthly with that one. Those are the ones I've read that I liked.

Thanks for the comment! I appreciate the feedback. Jeff Parker said in an interview that he based the '66 Killer Croc on the actor who played Lurch on The Addams Family. Waylon Jones started out as one of King Tut's goons! Fun Fact: John Astin, who played Gomez Addams replaced Frank Gorshin as The Riddler in one episode. Fun Fact Deux! Carolyn Jones, who played Morticia, was Marsha, Queen of Diamonds. Ted Cassidy, who played Lurch was also on Star Trek and provided the opening narration for The Incredible Hulk and The Hulk's Growls before he died in the late '70's.

SPOILER ALERT: If you remember False Face, then you might be interested to read how that character ties into Clayface.

Whichever format you choose; digital, print or trade collection, I recommend Batman '66. I wish the monthly had gone on longer, but the team-ups are worth it.
