well, I recently read on the site that the surfer can make blasts powerful enough to destroy a planet and that thanks to a power upgrade galactus gave him he was capable of overriding a machine that had thano's power level as a limit. so i think surfer wins but after an extremely hard fought battle.

Man when I made this I thought people would think of it as a nice way to debate and just because it is fun to get to talk with people that share commong ground with you and different poinst of view and opinions. surfer can win this if he knows exactly what he has to do he could beat up thor in the astral plane and take him down then he would use some red solar energy and soften up superman then finish him of with a planet shattering blast. I think there is no superheroe the surfer can not beat when he uses his powers at his fullest although some would give him serious trouble he would win at least 5.5 times out of ten.

but team 2 would win four and a half times out of ten.

If any of you want to you can mix up the matches or ad more heroes to the battles
I am pretty MM could beat Thor with his telepathy, just look at what he did to ultraman (a superman level being if not higer)

Plot:
The universes(DC and Marvel) are mixing because an intergalactic entity tyrant/conquerer wants to pit the most powerfull superheroes in these universes against each other to determine which one of them is best suited to be the general of his armies and conquer aal of Comicdom.
Matches:
First round:
1.J'onn J'onz vs The Sentry
2.Captain Marvel vs Thor
3.Superman vs The silver surfer
4.Captain Atom vs Hulk
Second round:
1.Winner of battle 1 vs Winner of battle 2
2.Winner of battle 3 vs Winner of battle 4
Third Round:
Winners of the second round against each other.
Rules:
No PIS or CIS or BFR or prep time, all characters at normal levels but are not restraining and battles are until someone is KO'ed, the answers must be elaborated.
You can bring in the matches another character/ers if you want to (no more than 2)
Fighting Location:
A Gladiatorial arena suspended in space.
