The ghost of the crisis on infinite earths, this isn't just a "mirror darkly of Superman" this is a Superman who's entire world was torn apart the second he realized his potential. His motives are understandable, he wants to liberate the multiverse from the incomprehensible mess that is DC "continuity", he wants a new earth, a better earth, his earth. Sounds good right? And that is sort of what we got in Infinite Crisis, and then Countdown happend and here is what we got: We got a whiny ranting parody of a comicbook fanboy (although some of his lines are pretty funny).

Batman's greatest failure returns to haunt him. He knows his secrets, and there is dramatic potential here: Jason doesn't what to be a criminal, he wants to be a better Batman than Bruce. Or at least thats what I thought. Since his introduction he has been terribly misused,almost like DC didn't know what to do with him. Luckily Grant Morrison seems to try to get him back to his roots (as Red Hood).
