The People’s Hope - Backstory

In the heart of Busan was a very small child. He was smaller than the other children, weaker as well. His intellect nothing to note and his talent nearly nonexistent; he was the purest form of prey this harsh society could conceive. Every step he had taken was feeble, but not meek. The boy faced the life he had been introduced to with his very soul. When a hand came to harm him he would bear it with strength and when words came to belittle him he ignored them. But he was not the only prey in this jungle.

When one is too hard to catch, fangs move to another; this concept birthed the Hero. As a weaker child himself he could not ignore the sight of prey in the maw of predators. So he took it upon himself to become a shield. Though he wasn't the toughest, nor the smartest—the boy found himself a pillar amongst the weak. Many a time he had been beaten, stomped, belittled, but the torment could never amount to the smiles of the weak. Maybe it was fate the mice would become the strongest being in the jungle.

Over time he faced these harsh waves with much more than grit. Like a rope pulling him along, he found himself in situations where he needed to become stronger and smarter. Naturally, he found himself in the heart of the jungle. Carnivorous and brutal, he cleared a path. To no more hatred, no more bullies, no more weak. It was soon after a shadow had loomed over him. Its name held no burden over the boy's shoulders, only its purpose.

It was the same the other way around. The boy soon adopted a name, ‘K’. With courage rivaling the seas and ambitions greater than the heavens, he steps forward.

The Hero - Talents and Strengths

Physical Ability
It was no understatement to say that ‘K’ was a very weak boy. But even the weakest bodies can have the strongest wills. Pushing himself to protect those he saw weakness in, K achieved a body that could even astonish the sky itself. Firstly, his body is extremely rigid. Through years of constant battles the Hero’s body has become so durable that an ordinary man's strike registers not a single ounce of pain to him. The usage of blunt weaponry along the lines of bats and planks seem to work the least on K—enduring these types of punishments was nothing uncommon for the Weakest Prey. Working in tandem with this monstrous durability, K is also able to withstand the most critical situations for as long as his will lasts. This endurance in itself might have been the sole reason his body was able to stand for as long as it did. Though his strength and speed do not exceed that of the peak-human realm, K’s attributes concerning these departments are not to be underestimated. His speed alone is able to rival that of a peak-human as he is able to apply this near-inhuman attribute to reflexes beyond comparison, dodging perception-blitzing slashes and the like. Additionally, his strength is near-unfathomable for a human as he is able to crack stone walls with his strikes alone. His lifting strength, in comparison, does not hold a candle due to the fact that the emphasis of the Weakest Prey’s combat revolves around quick movement and beastly will.

Over time K has been able to pinpoint the most pivotal spots to target when against a strong opponent. Many experiences of chokeholds have taught him to indiscriminately target the eyes, countless kicks taught him to shatter a knee; all these little battles the Hero survived taught him a single thing—reinforced a persisting thought, always target the enemies greatest weapon. Proving to be more brutal than he could have ever imagined, K suppresses his animalistic strength through the usage of weapons. Whether it be lying around or already conceived the Weakest Prey will always enter a fight with something to suppress him. Most commonly his dual batons. Despite the suppression K still exhibits the same calculative mind, never wasting a moment to strike. K utilizes a quick and violent moveset to eliminate an opponent as quickly as possible - though painless is never a virtue. Proficient in wielding weapons through pure instinct and built talent the Weakest Prey exudes great familiarity in both arts of unarmed and armed combat.

Twin Batons
B & S. Crafted by the shadow that looms over, K utilizes dual friction lock, titanium-alloy batons to combat any form of threat. Built to be both light and sturdy the black and silver twins present a deathly aura. Firstly, these 16-inch sticks allow for unbelievably heavy weight to bear upon them before showing the slightest sign of bend, be it fifty pounds or five hundred. Opposingly, the twin batons are quite light, weighing in at an approximate quarter of a pound. Unlike the black, the silver baton sports a chain that wraps around the user's hand in order to negate sway. Though both are built to comfortably sit in K’s hands through meticulous handle grooves the silver takes it a step further.
