Afro Man

Afro Man jumped back as the sentient mattress screamed. "EAT HIM!" It flopped at Afro Man with a surprising amount of speed. Afro Man had never really fought a mattress before and had no idea how. Did have pressure points? Maybe the springs would work, or would his attacks just bounce off it's bouncy surface? Afro Man's head was full of confusion, so much so that he didn't even notice the mattress again until it slammed into his face. Afro Man was surprised about how comfortable that hit was, it was very nice. Ignoring the less than lethal attack, Afro Man countered with a barrage of tactical hits aimed for the mattress's spring points. 

 "Those powers are impossible to master. Sooner or later, you'll kill somebody. Reach to wipe some ketchup off their cheek and turn their head a full 360. Hell, maybe you'll follow in my footsteps and bring down an entire city when you sneeze. Make me proud. HA HAHAHAH AHAHAHAH HA HA HA!"  Tank yelled like a madman as he climbed out of reach. Afro Man stood there is said nothing of Tank's rant, not wanting him to do anything too rash. But then he threatened the fro, Afro Man couldn't let him do that, he had no idea the power that he was messing with. Afro Man shook his head, "That's a really bad idea...." He explained. If Tank attempted to cut that fro he'd be hit by the true powers of the Afro Force, something ever Afro Man couldn't truly control. "Listen, if you didn't do this and I didn't do this. Then who did? We need to find the guy who started all this, we shouldn't be fighting like this." Afro Man tried to explain to the madman.

The chief of police, who everyone called the chief of  police, had called Afro Man about some kind of villainous creation attacking a mattress store. Afro Man had immediately sped off in his Afro Mobile, that is to say he rode a bike there because it's much healthier to ride bikes instead of driving cars.  Afro Man slowly stopped in front of the store, wondering what sort of beast he'd run into inside. Most likely some kind of horrible beast covered in teeth and cats, Afro Man hated cats. With a glare of resolve Afro Man burst into the store, ready to fight. 
 
"♪Listen monster man, I'm not a fan!♪" Afro Man yelled in his trademark sing song voice. Suddenly his eyes widened as he spotted the beast.....which was a mattress. Afro Man stood, dumbfounded for a moment. "That's.................different." He said calmly as he took a fighting stance, his hula hoop at the ready. "♪You may be springy and fun to use, but that won't stop me from doing what I do!♪"

Afro Man vs Zem the Mattress. Does the plot matter? Not really. You know why? BECAUSE THIS IS THE BEST BATTLE EVER. 
 
But seriously there will be plot and it too will be awesome. Who will win, the Afrolicious hero of Chicago or the insane Mattress from space?!?

"Not so fast criminal scum! I've come to end your fun!" Afro Man yelled, as he bounded at Tank, sending a barrage of blasts his way. Afro Man needed to get Tank away from the Orphanage long enough for the orphans to escape. Luckily he'd called the Orphanage with his cell phone that's he'd gotten back from his apartment. Most of the kids were probably herding out now so Afro Man would only need to distract Tank only for so long. Afro Man stomped around Tank, causing even more explosions. Afro Man cursed this body's explosive nature, he'd nearly blown up five cars on the way to Tank. "Listen." Afro Man said, for once not in his sing song tone. "Why'd you steal my body, seriously. There's stronger heroes out there, why me?" Afro Man nodded to himself, talk the villain into a monologue, it worked on most of these guys, why not Tank?
