Actually I need to get a few more followers so I can finish one of these quests...  If anybody out there needs to follow somebody randomly, I'm taking applicants!  Thanks for your help guys!

The current titles I am reading right now are:

I also plan on reading Shadowland when I can.  Aside from those few titles, I mainly reread back issues or trades from nearly 3,000 comic books I have in my collection.  I'm reading fun titles like The 7 Guys of Justice, Excalibur, and Giantkiller right now, but I cycle through BUNCHES of comics.  I just got done reading Captain Nauticus and the Ocean Force #1 last night.  I'd say that I read about 30 comics a week.  I also try to update Comic Vine as I reread my old titles.

If you just like reading comics to see the various styles, I suggest the bargain bins at your local shop.  Most places have $1 or less boxes, and most owners will cut you an even better deal if you buy bulk.  If that's not an option, I definitely recommend picking up trade paperback collections.  The comic shops will have a lot, but if you don't have access to that, check out other stores like Barnes & Nobles, Borders, etc.  They usually have WALLS of comic books.

As long as you can still be a functioning, productive member of society, I don't see the harm in reading as many comics as you want!  Just make sure to have fun reading!

A genuine comicholic,

No, Mr. Immortal can be killed... over and over and over and over again.  He just can't stay dead.  Same thing with Mr. Immortal threads -- they will always come back to life!

@Starscream49:   I had low expectations before I went because I didn't want to get disappointed.  There were great deals on comics, I got to talk to lots of local talented people in the business like Bill Meiggs, Tim Dzon & Dan Nokes, and there was even some cosplay from the attendees!  Overall, it was an awesome first experience.  I can't wait to go to a bigger, more established convention!

Thank you The Dark Knight! You've got hot girls like my friend   Jolene Lai dressing up like kinky Joker nurses on Halloween for years!

The Dark Knight is a 5 star movie because it moved away from the "Comics Code Authority approved" type of characters we've seen in the past, such as in the 1989 version of Batman with Jack Nicholson playing a comical Joker, and towards the darker side of comics -- perfect for the dark knight!  Not only were the characters developed, but the city was as well: the audience sees everything from Harvey Dent battling Salvatore Maroni and the criminal organizations, to a glimpse into the hearts and minds of Gotham's convicted criminals and its general public.  Christopher Nolan gives us what The Joker should have been the whole time before the censorship of comics: a truly deranged homicidal maniac who is totally unpredictable.  Batman seems to have regained his lost popularity over the years, and fans anxiously await the closing of the trilogy.  This movie has definitely raised the bar and set a new standard for all comic book movies to come!

"A man without fear is a man without limits."  That said, I can see Daredevil turning villain.  I wonder how Kingpin is going to play in all this...  Ninjas, good guys disregarding the law, new costume... I've already got this on pull at comiXology!

@G-Man:   Okay, makes sense.  I guess the Unscripted Reviews I mainly catch are ones that I'm interested in, and that you seem to like as well.  Nice talking with you!  I have better insight to how you rate now!
