Hawkeye and Green Arrow are as much ripoffs as say Superman and Goku, Deathstroke and Deadpool, Namor and Aquaman, Fantastic Four and Doom Patrol . Sure they are Blond, have a blond female partner/lover, and use Bow and Arrows, but they differ in personality. I read Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) and Wonderwoman, but only stayed for WonderWoman's book while I love Namor and Can't quite like Aquaman, and God the Pre and Post JSA is a better team than the New and Old JLA. Clint is more honorable than Ollie and can lead while Ollie is an Underdog type char that manages to pull of wins. I love them both in different ways, but they are not the same.
It depends on what you consider a superpower. For humans that can be anyone doing unbelivable things. Like being able to fly and run superfast. Money is a type of power and so is Knowledge which can bot be super depending on whom wields it. Fantastic Four with radiation, the x-men by being experimented on by the high evolutionary gods from like the beginning of time or the newer mutants from the phoenix, various Metahumans from dc.
Emma got pregnant at a young age from some character in her past via rape and that's how Silver Sable(?) was born. Her powers manifested afterwards and she killed her raper had the kid raised by a close family member while she went to college and then into the high society world where she meets Sebastian shaw and they become an item. He gives her her next daughter who he has raised with the aforementioned family member as they go on to do their Hellfire Club things. Emma not being a heartless b#&!? pays for the daughters upbringing and even occasionally writes them and visits a few times. The Younger Emma grows up with his sister and while at a private school herparents paid for gets snatched up by Sabretooth and Stryker.
Gambit yes with his Thieves Guild and Maruaders background on top of not really being such a big part of the x-men like Scott or the older and younger original 5. Magneto also needs to be a part of a team despite his book. Psylocke could probably hold a solo with her weird history and being an X-force member. Namor, well since Aquaman is actaully good, but add to the whole world disliking him on top of his magnificient attitude it would be more interesting to me from the better Mariner.
Depends on which era of X-Men we are talking about. Right now I could see it happening Thanks to what three three caused or contributed to the X-men. Wolverine woukd probably be the least needed, Kitty practically leads the Jean Grey school, Emma can do the leading of the other x-men, and Storm is incharge of the Not X-force portion. These three replace Scott, Erik, And James if the three just stopped existing.
Yes, I look forward to Rachel Grey being a badass psychic that this universe needs. Vamp Jubilee isalso a favorite and Rogue is ok. Kitty is the only one I worry about. She pretty much became Emma Frost lite, which isn't bad, but she's not the condesending, bitchy, manipulative type. Storm and her Mohawk is groovy as always, Betty might get better as a ninja since Rachel is the real telepath/telekinetic powerhouse here. I do not wish to9 see Pixie in this. X23 could be fun if she wasn't killing everyone in AA.
