hmm, was hoping he was talking about The Riddler when he said the next batman arc would be about his fave Batman villain, he seems like he could write a good Riddler story. Oh well.
I think I'm in that minority that is finding Lemire's run kinda boring at the moment, Milligan's was starting to get good too...ah well. Only reading it for the loose Demon Knights links at the moment, but I do hope it gets better.
Get Dove away from Hawk and stick her here, she might actually end up turning into an interesting character. Resurrection Man could be cool here too.
Idea is interesting, could either have a positive or negative impact on the Spiderman mythos but either way it might be pretty bigif they're planning on making this a long term thing. I agree with Hunter114, Peter's the last guy I'd expect to have a sidekick though...if he was older, then maybe.
Really not liking that art either, but I see a lot of people praising it so whatever, must just be me.
Demon Knights, Swamp Thing, and Dial H are my faves. Frankenstein is a guilty pleasure (enjoyed Kindt's first issue on it as well. Less monster mash-y more sci-fi, might be cool!)
I've seen a lot of people discussing the possibility of X-men ending up in a seperate universe for themselves. I don't read AvX so I'm not sure how likely that is, but it certainly sounds interesting.
The first story arc was great, set up a lot of stuff too. The villain's identity was pretty obvious but it didn't make it any less enjoyable. The arc ending in Gotham hampered it a little, but yeah it was still good. The NotO tie-in...I liked it, but it did feel very out-of-place. The upcoming arc seems interesting, though it seems Nightwing will be his partner for this story...
I'm considering dropping it, I kinda want to see more stuff like the first story arc and I'm not sure whether Winck is planning on doing that. I prefer Simon Oliver's art to Marcus To's art as well.
@capelesscrusader:Fair enough. I feel it's still at the stage where it could go either way, since #1 was mainly a character introduction and setting infodump. I don't really wanna judge it yet but I certainly have high hopes for it.
