Here is the counter-part of what i was saying, what if Batman just kill Joker after he see that the mad Jester can't be saved, just go and break his neck, or a batrang on eye, or just make he die bleeding, everyday that the Joker still lives, someone dies because of his madness, everyday that Bruce think about the edge of moral, he is forgetting that keep one insane life, is costing thousands of inocent lifes.
He blames himself for every problem in the World, he is a adult using a militar bat costume, and hanging around with aliens, amazons, green suit guys and a really fast guy.He is just a man, but even, he still goes on suicide missions to save the world, but for what?everyday more bruce is being drag by the hood and forgeting who he really is, Batman or Bruce .
In another factor, Bruce is killing himself in this crazy vigilanting thing, and one day or other, he will get kill , by a god from the space, or a simple bandit,he will not be young forever, and when the day comes and Batman get tired of sava Gotham, the city is destroyed, so, of all of Batman's failures, the greatest one is not save himself from itself.

Let's talk honestly, he is a sociopath, and everybody knows that he deserve to die, slowly, but hey, he still being a human, or was many time ago, maybe, if Bruce Wayne has uses his fortune to really help Joker , give him a long treatament , with the best that a milionnare's money can pay for, we not have the crazy clown killing bat-family almost everytime he can, but insted, a normal man, trying to pay for his sins.

If you stop to think, many of the insane villains walking in Gotham are directly or indirectly batman's fault, Black Mask, Bane, Red Hood, Moobsters Joker it self, the league of Shadows, all of this great evils use to not attack the city , But now, with the dark knight taking the criminals down with no fear, the city was turned into a constant ocean of gang war and disgraces, because of Batman , even the cops become sloths, most of they just wait Batman save the city.
And after all of this, Batman doesn't kills, doesn't matter what they have done.

Barbara was one of the greatest Batman fails, she was shot in her own house, losing her leg movements,Joker takes photos while she was brutally raped by him, and almost sure she was beaten in the process of rape and picture,after this, those photographs wasen show to her father, James Gordon, who almost was drive to insanity by Joker's plans, another great fail from Batman.
And again, even after this, Batman didn't Kill the Joker

He was saved by Bruce from his the young criminal life in Gotham, trained in crime fighint, and so the second Robin has born, but the child doesn't flyed so much, Bruce never trusted in Jason , always with fear of Jason's Brutal way to be, but When Joker realised that the boy was a problem in the Batman and Joker's "relationship" well, he was tortured with a crow and left to die into a full of bomb's werehouse, Bruce didn't come in time, and just saw the death of his son , time after he came back to live, changed, he become a "Punisher"in Gotham, doing what he thinks that was right and taking down enyone who he think is bad to the city, Bruce failed in save Jason from Joker's hands, and from his self violent way, and Gotham paied for it,but in special, Jason is paying for batman's failure.
After this, Bruce didn't kill Joker
