Wait, hasn't Majestic moved like some planets? That totally makes him more powerful than Ares. What planets Ares moved?

All of them.

@abhilegend: and the scan also said it wasnt fully out, and if you looked at the link i poster earlier a micro-blackhole is harmless, though that black hole was once bigger, its now a micro and harmless, what superman did was prevent it from growing by basically suffocating it.

Because superman caught it. If it was fully out, the whole solar system would've got destroyed. It was fully exerting its gravity on superman though.

Post a scan where it was said to be a micro black hole. At that state it destroyed a whole galaxy. It was never bigger, you're just being obtuse now. Superman never suffocated it which is something you thought on random.

@abhilegend: im probably going to get a lot of hate for saying this, but superman didn't hold a blackhole, he held a device that held a micro-blackhole (size of a dust particle) that was leaking a small bit of gravity

its actually a durability feat from supes because micro-blackholes need to take energy from around themselves to survive so it was trying to absorb Supes, which is why his hands felt like they were getting ripped, he essentially suffocated it.

You are totally wrong. Atom said any screw up and the whole solar system is gone if the black hole escapes the magnetic field.

Then superman destroyed the magnetic field when he used his HV on the machine.

It was directly stated that the black hole escaped the magnetic field but superman caught it before it was fully released and destroyed the whole solar system like it did previously to a whole galaxy.

The amount of lowballing for this feat is staggering. I posted the same black hole destroying a whole galaxy but there are people who are still posting real life theories on black holes? Its a comic, not a science fare.

Of course he did. He said it was going to destroy the whole solar system and that includes the sun too, you know.

John helped him after some time when he was having difficulty. Superman has a finite stamina.

SMH, how many times are you going to ignore on panel statements?

Here it destroyed a Galactic Empire on panel.

Then here it is stated that the black hole destroyed thousands of planets. Superman then directly states "the galaxy it had destroyed".

Also superman said it was like his hands were going to be ripped off. If that was the case Mnemon wouldn't have to essentially bribe Superman to let him go.

Would I have to post the whole comic here for you to understand that there was no mention of a micro black hole or it needing extra mass? FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IT DESTROYED A WHOLE GALAXY ON PANEL!! What else do you need?

Right, so when did Atom said how much mass it had? Oh, he didn't?

EDIT: He didn't even did it alone, it seems like John helped him. And no, it never said a whole Galaxy. Like some said, more like a durability feat and it was going to rip his hands off anyway.

It wasn't even a Stellar Black Hole. Stellar Black Holes have a diameter of at least 24 kilometers. That Black Hole is far from being a Stellar Black Hole It's another kind of black hole non existent then, making this a unquantifiable feat. You don't seem to know how Black Holes work very well.

Who cares if it wasn't a stellar black hole? Atom said it would destroy the whole solar system and he's one of the smartest characters in comics with more knowledge on black holes and dwarf stars than anyone. It was stated clearly that the black hole destroed thousands of planets and a whole galaxy. These are the feats which matter, not the random real life science facts. If you have any in-comics fact to contradict this feat, this is the time to post it. Otherwise stop wasting my time.

@foreverevil: @abhilegend: It wasn't a black hole. It's more of a durability feat, which is now non-cannon thanks to the reboot. Also, does no one remember Thor fighting in the center of the sun?

Thor and Orion win because they'll work better together. Orion can fend off superman while thor takes care of lobo, they then gang up on superman. I thought it was well agreed that Thor was Superman's equal.

So now you'll just ignore the on panel statement of Atom? How does durability help you restraining a black hole's gravity in the palm of your hand? Also the OP stated the preboot versions of the characters specifically, not the reboot version.

@abhilegend: Superman never defeated Lobo on his own without amp. And can you prove that miniature black hole is heavier that star?

@sheenlantern You dont know much about black holes right? Miniature black holes don't possess stelar mass. That black hole Superman was carrying is maybe lighter than city or small island lol.

In principle, a black hole can have any mass equal to or above the Planck mass (about 22 micrograms). To make a black hole, one must concentrate mass or energy sufficiently that the escape velocity from the region in which it is concentrated exceeds the speed of light. This condition gives the Schwarzschild radius, , where G is Gravitational constant and c is the speed of light, of a black hole of mass M. On the other hand, the Compton wavelength, , where h is Planck's constant, represents a limit on the minimum size of the region in which a mass M at rest can be localized. For sufficiently small M, the reduced Compton wavelength (, where ħ is Reduced planck constant) exceeds half the Schwarzschild radius, and no black hole description exists. This smallest mass for a black hole is thus approximately the Planck mass.

That's superman under Eradicator's mind control and declared non canon by DC First. What amp Superman has here?

Superman vs Lobo and Lar Gand from Adventures of Superman Annual 2.

He simply manhandled both Lobo and Mon-El and knocked them both out.

@zombiemowlcher: The mass required to create a black hole is 1.7 to 3.2 solar masses.

What? You're talking about Stellar Black holes. That one Superman held was a Micro Black Hole. Micro Black holes has mass equal to that of a Planck Mass(22 micro grams). That Micro Black hole would suck in everything on its path, growing in size and in mass, until it would become a Stellar Black Hole, then a Intermediate Black Hole and finally a Supermassive Black Hole(like a Quasar).

That wasn't a micro black hole. Atom directly stated that the whole solar system would be destroyed if it was released. The same black hole had destroyed thousands of planets in his quest to store memories, in fact a whole galaxy.

Stop talking about something you don't know anything about.

@abhilegend: That wasn't a black hole. It was a device that was going to become one. Superman simply held it together.

No, it was a black hole which would've destroyed the solar system. It was kept in check with a magnetic field which Superman destroyed.

@sheenlantern: Ok, but that thing wasn't a black hole until it was thrown into the wormhole.

You are flat out wrong. All superman did was create a magnetic field around it and tossed it away.
