SO i was thinking tonight is it really important to have a partner who is interested in Comics etc or can you co - exist happily without it? Is it simply a matter of personal feeling..

I got to thinking about Hawk and his lovely wife and how she puts up wtih all his babble about comics etc... and i was thinking, does she not get bored to tears by him? or does she just indulge him and smile and nod and blank out when he talks.. LOL  Or maybe its fun for them to have different interests...

I must admit with my man i do sometimes vague out  when he goes on about some geek things that bore me slightly, but i usually try my hardest to follow what he is saying and smile and nod and TRY to enjoy Cowboy Bebop... cause i love him and care about his interests. Most of the time we have amazing conversations about it all and I love that about us.
 Will that change after we marry though..? will I get bored? what if one of us grows out of it?  will he get bored with my constant babble about how Batman could kick Supermans arse any day?  o r will he always enjoy that about me? ...

My friend s vary, some have partners that are fellow geeks some have partners that couldnt care less... I do think to myself.. i couldnt live like that.. I want my husband to share my love of spending $100 on a Leatherface statue...
