Favorites

This is just a general list of favorites that i like in the comic universe. it can vary from characters, or places, objects. This is not in a particular order.

List items

  • May not look like much, but their power is the true prize and a key into the greatest power in the universe. forged to house all the magical knowledge of the universe it was transfered to the council of elders, which became a crystal of the all the collected power. now the swords a key to use that power. but only the bloodline of grayskull can access it through the sword.

  • I liked him cause he was red and smart initially. but since Jeff Parker took over he is so much better.

  • Everyone knocks him because of the old cartoon. read the MV creations run on this 2002 series and he is bad ass.

  • One of the better of the canadian super heroes. with claws that can hurt the hulk which is awesome. and crazy smart. also kind of crazy.

  • Darkseid was one of those super weapons you whip out on a special occassion. i mean he gave superman a run for his money and i have to give him tons of props for that.

  • Dr.Doom, despite the fan boyish biased attitude towards the man, he is still a man. he is my favorite because one he is a self made ruler who does not treat his people unjustly. He wield science and magic which the two by themselves would naturally contradict. He is a simple and hard villain to defeat. his biggest weakness is his own ego which can be used against him time and time again.

  • I was always a fan of Norse Mythology and so Thor is key player in this list. I was especially a fan of the whole alter ego of Dr.Henry Blake. Where on earth he is limited to his human form but learns more of compassion and helps others. and on the other side he is Thor a warrior who still has ancient ideologies towards women and other people.

  • The man is a genius, ill give him that. but also a mad man. he dislikes anyone who is superior to him. but it also makes him very interesting to read. he is a man trying to contend against a flying humanoid who is practically invulnerable to hard.

  • He is totally awesome since Geoff johns took him over. i mean he was ok before but kind of bland.

  • Bad ass plain and simple.

  • Lesser form of black adam. but he can go either way and i think that is always interesting. but slowly does he follow the path of the man who ripped off Psycho pirates face.

  • Great place, should visit it sometime. ;)

  • This is a world i understand very much. yet while i know so much there is much of this world that is undiscovered. Magic and technology intertwine to make a surreal sci-fi/fantasy.

  • She would have been awesome if it werent for the fact that she dies way too much.

  • Mutant strategist and bad ass. im a fan of critical thinkers and who have plans for everything. and scott was seen as one of the x-men for years who did not have powers that could contend with the rest of the team. Until the only good blonde in the marvel universe (IMO) made him into the great mutant leader he is today.

  • I have a weakness for redheads.

  • The one archie should have went for.

  • Leader of the Evil Horde, former teacher of Keldor (not skeletor). this man...demon...creature has so much magic coming out the wazoo. (usually thats where it comes out of)

  • Always a great villain or ally to throw into comics. i mean he put up lots of fight with the x-men even joined them for a bit. but now i like him in the run of Thunderbolts. He really wants to change so that way he can be in free and open air again.

  • Im loving his new run in brightest day. going back to the whole Robin hood ancestry which is awesome.

  • What can i say... i like fast women.

  • Im especially becoming a fan of this place with that forest and i hope it stays.

  • Great city for the Nightwing stories. full of corruption it was like starting anew for gotham almost.

  • Another redhead.....so sue me. if she played World of Warcraft on her free time im sold on her.

  • Robin/Nightwing/Batman. Richard Grayson is another favorite from DC. personally i would choose him over bruce wayne any day.

  • Great Side-kick to Richard. because he is intelligent but also violent. and its something like working with Jason todd (except with talent). though i question his Wayne legitimacy. personally i think he is the son of Jason Todd and Talia al ghul. read the Red Hood Miniseries.

  • Now if i had to rank i would put him at the bottom of the list. only because of the other series they have come out with. his main run at marvel is good enough for me. and Cable & Deapool series was a blast.

  • I was sad when he died. one of the best future offspring to ever appear from Scotts loins.

  • She is an interesting character she refused to believe that whole messiah garbage and tried to embrace the sort of teachings of get it done yourself that cable taught her. she does not like being pampered and shows the type of power that Peter Petrelli had in heroes.

  • Though i have given the series much flack for the recent years. I just can't hate this guy. i used to read him when i was a wee one. his series has gotten better with big time and now that Joe Q has stepped down (thanks for that) now maybe things could get back to a sense of normality......for the comics.

  • Come on this man is bad ass, a guy who can crime fight while being blind.

  • Such a sad character, I thought he made a natural choice to have him as the new arrow in JLA until he lost his arm and his daughter since Cry for Justice. Now I follow his drugged up ass in Titans.

  • They love each other. Lian was the proof of it. Now that she is gone its been nothing but blame between the two.

  • I miss her.. I really do.
