I haven't posted here in a great while. The picture on the left was taken a couple months ago near a lake. The picture in the middle was taken about two years ago. It's amazing the difference facial hair makes! Back in high school, when I was clean shaven, my friend said to me, "You're pretty average looking now, but I think you'll be a good-looking adult!" No wonder my self esteem was so low in high school. I'm pretty happy with the way I look now, though. I feel a lot more comfortable in my in skin than I used to. EDIT: The picture on the right was taken about three years ago. (I thought I'd include it since it has better lighting than the middle picture.) I showed my roommate pictures of my clean-shaven self. Her reaction: "...Definitely keep the facial hair." Lol.
Final Fantasy VIII. Had the mechanics been tweaked a little more, and if the story didn't have so many contrivances, it wouldn't have been so polarizing. A proper remake would allow the game to redeem itself--hell, SquareEnix could even incorporate some of the fan theories. There's so much untapped potential in that game and its universe.
Get appendicitis! I lost like six pounds in one week! Wouldn't recommend that method, though. $2,100 later in medical bills, appendicitis ended up being a very expensive method of weight loss. I gained the weight back and everything! What a rip-off!
I have never seen a cockroach in person. Spiders freak me out way more. I see house spiders all the time, and although they're relatively harmless, they're huge and terrifying to look at (phrasing?). One of those things just randomly crawled up on my mattress while I was playing video games and gave me a horrible panic attack.
