I would lean towards the NC based on the fact that Combat Medics will keep almost every one of those soldiers alive thanks to the Nanite Revive Grenades and in general just massive amount of healing to be done. Assuming we're following the game's logic of reviving people like that or with a Medi-gun.

As for the T-1000, I know the NC wouldn't have a clue about it, however, the T-1000 in Judgement Day died from melting from a high temp. In Terminator 3, the T-850's fuel cells are Hydrogen bombs basically, just use those to take care of T-1000. It's a stretch but, hey, it'll be cool.

When all else fails, EMP grenades from the Infiltrators, Anti-Vehicle grenades from the countless heavies. MAXs would go toe to toe with a great number of these Terminators.

In the end, Medics and Heavies would be the heroes of the battle. Huge amounts of firepower from the different Rocket Launchers they have access to.

The NC has good versatility for this kind of battle.

What I meant is that, lore doesn't matter in term of gameplay. If it did Arc Warden would wipe out Dire and Radiant side in moments. It doesn't happen because that would make for a boring game. Unless you think a guy with a gun (Sniper) can kill a cosmic being like Arc Warden.

I love that stuff. It's like "look at this amazing lore" but then in-game it makes no difference. Which is honestly, as it should be, nonetheless it's silly.

For DotA 2, you have Arc Warden's lore which is in essence the very first being ever. While his mind is broken and "fragmented", you can only assume that primordial power should be able to wipe out EVERYTHING. Alas, game mechanics trump lore.

I feel like that's a hard thing to answer without giving an idea of what kind of universe you were expecting characters from. Or even some you had an idea of him fighting.

Since the Archdemon can't change bodies constantly. Even if it could, Hell is literally limitless, powerful demons will... "respawn" lesser ones do stay dead though, Darkspawn do have a breeding time which would ruin a long term fight (years upon years of combat, granted). Even if it was a slug fest Diablo would still win by sheer versatility of his forces.

Diablo, I'd say, is overall more powerful than the Archdemon and we have sure seen more from him than the Archdemon. Prime Evil Diablo who is supposed to be one of the most powerful creatures in the universe. The only reason the Nephalem, the players, were able to win is because it was a team effort, a sole Nephalem would have been destroyed.

I'd say Diablo would win in the end.

I'm really scared of those Chryssalids cutting a bloody path across China creating zombies as they go.

Although the air power for team 2 might cause a lot of mayhem...

I'm going to lean towards Team 1, personally, those Chryssalids could potently create a massive sized army. Fodder zombies but a distraction. (this is all assuming there are still people on the planet, China, and not a barren waste land of nothing)

@asavar: I think everyone agrees the Space Marine wins. We can stop, it's okay.

@archinist: Bronze is such a weak metal... Kevlar Vests... okay, I'm not gonna waste my time...

Prove to me that Aasd can push over 750 pounds then we'll talk about pushing him off a cliff which most likely won't even hurt the Marine to any degree.

Ingi is NOT going to get hot enough to even cause the Space Marine a moments hesitation of suddenly being engulfed in flames. Not to mention they have a "Temperature Regulator" built into the suit to prevent exactly that. Unless you're telling me the heat can reach well over 800c, where Space Marines casually fight on volcanic planets.

Why are you even defending Geralt when you made the OP? Why make the thread only to defend one person you clearly think would win but actually has no chance at all?

@archinist: Did you just say a shield in the Witcher will stop a round from a Bolter? The very weapon whose ammo has a rocket of its own? (which he doesn't have a shield so that's actually irrelevant)

...the chainsword can easily jam..? Jam on what? It tears through armor in 40k easy, flesh like it doesn't even give resistance. Chainsword will rip and tear through anything Garelt brings.

Igni is not going to do anything to the Power Armor if the Marine is fully enclosed in it, which is standard. It's sealed tight enough that they can use them as space suits. How are the weak flames, that barely hurts normal people, damage the armor let alone the Marine inside?

How much can Garelt even push? In Space Marine, the video game, Captain Titus is mentioned to be at least 750 pounds, I'm not sure if that's with or without armor. Either way Garelt would need some strength to do that. If he can even get close enough. Again if he even manages to get close enough first, how much weight can Aard push?

Even if there was weak points in the armor, normal steel is not breaking through. That's like saying a butter knife made out of bronze is going to pierce a Kevlar vest.

Geralt has no chance currently. Which ends with him getting torn to pieces by the Bolter round from the very beginning.
