Wow, something new on the front page. Also, I have a very bad feeling about this new direction for Superman. Prove me wrong, Bendis.

Interesting list, a lot of anti-heroes, characters who choose to isolate themselves emotionally and frequently find themselves on the other side of the law or outside accepted society.

So I see they're following off the original cartoon. Neat. I liked Extreme Ghostbusters, I wonder if that will tie in at all. As for the movie (2016), I didn't hate it either, but I can't say I liked it. I didn't find it funny or entertaining. Bland like a bowl of oatmeal.

Is this a teen book? Normally, I like teen books which is why I enjoy reading manga.

@inferiorego: Yes, I know what you mean. The "a modern black man in a time of racism" could be interesting if it hadn't been done many times before. Ever see "Far Beyond the Stars"? It's an episode of Star Trek Deep Space Nine where Captain Sisko quantum-leaps into a black 1950's sci-fi writer. Speaking of Quantum Leap, there's "The Color of Truth", where Sam jumps into the body of a black man in the mid 50's. I haven't seen it yet, but apparently there was a Legends of Tomorrow episode where they travel back in time and members of the team encounter racism and sexism. There's a whole trope on the subject.

I am most interested in Luke Cage, but after that Westworld, Son of Zorn, and one not mentioned, Timeless. I'm not sure if it will be any good, but I am curious. I'm hoping it's something like Time Tunnel or maybe Seven Days. I like a good time travel show.

@JamesSpiring: Is Quicksilver no longer considered a mutant? That part always confused me, honestly. Also, the Human Torch is still considered a member of the Fantastic Four even if that series is on hiatus. So, you've got four FOX properties and four Disney-Marvel properties and one who seems to straddle both studios. Yes, they are all Marvel properties and technically, that makes them all Disney-Marvel characters, but I'm just focusing on the cinematic arm which increases recognizability across the general populace. There's money to be made from that.

There's an unusual number of mutants on this Avengers team. I thought Disney-Marvel was trying to dump the mutants to spite FOX, or have they found a loophole where mutants can be in the MCU if they're recategorized as Avengers. I see through their plan. Pretty sneaky, sis.

That's a good list. I don't know much about Blue Marvel. Your list makes me curious to see what I would do. Maybe sometime I'll try and whittle down to a Top-10, too. Top-25 would be so much easier. Wait a minute, I can do up to 100 on a numbered list! Thanks for the inspiration.

I enjoyed the movie and came out happy to have seen it. I felt good as I exited the theater, but that doesn't necessarily mean I think it was a great film. I would say it is a marginally above average movie with a number of problems most specifically the villain and how that conflict resolves itself. But, even though there are a lengthy list of issues with the movie, I can't deny that I really liked spending time with these characters. For that, it is my favorite of the three DCEU films released so far.
