Totally agree @br_havoc! I love their work on FF so much--they're proven for cosmic and high science. And like you said, the emotions they convey is sooo good.
I love the Allreds, their sensibilities are awesome. It's one of the things that makes current Marvel books awesome in that different styles are all featured and used in the right ways (more retro/fun/or minimalist styles are reserved for less mainstream) whereas house styles are used for the more mainstream books.
The book is really good though guys (sure, that's just based on the first issue, but still!). I like the art, but I can see how divisive it can be--especially compared to someone like Samnee, Shaner, or Allred who are also doing more with less.
if Gaiman wrote GoG I'd read it. Loved DnA's run on it. But Bendis holds me back. This will still be a Bendis GoG story, just with Gaiman's name on it I think.
Also, let's be honest, NO ONE cares Angela is in Marvel. No one was even talking about that character or asking for her to appear again before it was revealed she was coming to Marvel. Marvel is really hyping a side character from 90's Spawn, and no one really cares.
It is generating a lot of talk though in the community, that's always positive. But yeah, still reluctant.
