@90scomicfan: Finally someone else who likes Kyle more than Hal, I'm with you man! I find him so more interesting than Hal in general :)

Listen to the Podcast, I'm with ya'll. Rayner's always been my #1 Lantern pick.

I started reading GL just before Hal went nuts and turned into Parallax and then Marz created Kyle. I think the hook for Kyle was better. He's just a guy who gets chosen completely at random. There's no daddy issues there, or dark secrets from his past. I think he's sort of dc's version of peter parker in that he's an average guy with regular problems. He just happens to have a power ring! :) Also Wally West is my Flash. Really hoping they bring him back in something soon!

Just finished reading it. As bad as I thought it was going to be, it was much worse! The whole issue felt like an incoherent mess. I understand its a time travel story but there has to be some narrative surely?! Galactus just appears from nowhere! They at least sort of announced Angela's arrival before this appeared with the orange light but then it just stops dead. Other points; The Pym on the ipad was 1960s Pym? Didn't Sue and Wolverine put Furys car back where they found it in the savage land?

I didn't have a problem with Ultron not being front and centre as it was about the world he created and the heroes trying to undo it. As with most of the other posts on here I mainly feel exasperated by the fact I've read a 10 issue story that could have been told in 5 parts max, and delivered very little. It was very reminiscent of Brightest Day by DC, in that the amount of issues printed just weren't needed. But at least it didn't take 24 issues just to bring a character back only to then have a whole universe reboot and make it a waste of time. At least AofU wasn't that bad!

So glad this got a high review score! Always liked Kyle more than Hal (you'd never guess from my avatar!) and was disappointed with this book when it first launched, Looking forward to picking it up this week!

Anyone been to cbr's website yet? Their review is..........well just see for yourselves.

I haven't even picked this up yet and STILL checked out the spoilers. Shows how much I care about this "event". Too long and too mediocre. Could have been told in 4 or 5 issues. I'm now very wary of picking up Infinity even though Hickmans writing it. Might start getting some DC titles again! :)
