Origin

Jessica Vale was a young mutant girl with the ability of short-term precognition, usually minutes in advance.

Creation

Preview was created by Nunzio DeFilippis, Christina Weir and Michael Ryan and first appeared in New X-Men issue 5 (2004).

Major Story Arcs

Joining the Xavier Institute

Preview was a member of the Paragon Squad, once taught by Rahne Sinclair but then by Magma after the relationship between Rahne and Elixir was exposed. She was known as the biggest drama queen because she never acted on anything if she knew the outcome would be bad.

M-Day and depowermend

Preview was confirmed depowered on M-Day, and left the school. She was, unlike her sister Network, not present on the bus that was blown up by Reverant Stryker's Purifiers when they launched an attack on the school. With her sister dead, Preview left the school and was not heard from anymore since then.

Powers

Flash Precognition: This allowed her to see into the near future. The extent of her powers were not revealed, but most likely not that strong, since she did not foresee M-Day.
