Pretzels the Dog

Origin

Trained as a detection dog after being adopted from a shelter, Pretzels was assigned to work searching for contraband at LAX. He proved very adept, and was singlepawedly responsible for making smuggling through LAX almost impossible.

Creation

Pretzels was created by Nick Spencer and Steve Lieber. He made his first appearance in The Fix #1.

Major Story Arcs

The Fix

Pretzels becomes the target of Roy and Mac, who have been tasked with smuggling something through customs. He is partnered with Mac, to whom he takes an instant dislike. However, after they take down a drug smuggler together, Pretzels bonds with Mac. He is seriously wounded during an attempt to apprehend a suspicious person in the airport, but manages to survive.

Powers and Abilities

Pretzels is a highly-trained and very skilled detection dog.
