The team encounters Rebecca Littlehale, a young girl who has recently discovered she is a mutant. Rebecca's power enables her to teleport to any bright light she sees. Since she is unable to control her abilities, she teleports randomly across New York City, and finally ends up on the ledge outside the Powers' apartment, before zapping away again. The Power kids set off in search of Rebecca, and Alex fires a power ball in the hopes that she will teleport toward them. When they find her, they fly Rebecca back to her home in Brooklyn.

The vulnerability of the girl, the shock of the parents... all...
