It depends. Most all of the pre-52 stuff is good, not all, but most. Little of the nu52 stuff is good, but some is, mostly the stuff that was written outside of Worlds' Finest. Suicide Squad, Supergirl, and yeah, an issue of WF, the last one that was a FE special, plus some of the WE stuff. Avoid the 86 or 88 mini, and the Doom Patrol crossover at around the same time. Her Warlord appearances are fine but very hard to get.

New Earth Powergirl is a great character.

Is that nu 52 PG, or the preboot PG after COIE, as in JLE/JLI/JSA or her own solo?

From what I've read I didn't find her to be all that great of a character.

@arturocalakayvee: Ha! Okay, that makes sense. Nu 52 PG isn't really all that much, since for whatever reason her duo title was horrible and not representative of the character in any previous era.

I will admit, the new costume does look good. Probably one of the few things they've gotten right about PG in the nu 52. The "S" shield in the pics for this week's WE looks pretty good.

If you mean because of the window, sure, though she also had the window nu 52. But she did sport the "S" pre-52 for a single issue, in a black costume as the leader of a dystopian future JLA.

The S replaces the window. I'm talking about what's underneath it.

Let me put it this way: the same joke just isn't as funny the second time you hear it. Especially when it does nothing but make my Kare-Bear feel bad about herself by waving those gi-hugic hooters around!

Any character who is well written tends to be, regardless of looks. PG just gets the short end of that stick more often than not unfortunately.
