Some fans who can write and draw should get together and make their own PG comics. Then there is no need to complain about what DC does to her.

Since we are regularly clamoring for a PG movie, ambitious fans could make those too. Probably better than what DC would make.

As for her personality, I see that she is extremely flirtatious...and perhaps a bit crude now. Are there any other personality defects? I am not really a Power Girl fan, but I need to become more familiar with her character.

In simple words: she was a boss chic who puts in work, handled stress, (which could describe any superheroine, I realize) and cracked jokes without directly being the punchline. Yeah she made flirty sexy jokes. The boob window was ironic. I liked her costume and humor because they were an issue to everyone but her characterization, like anti-anti-sexism. I've read very little Power Girl; maybe five or six issues from Palmiotti's 12, but I've read World's Finest, and by comparison she's cheesy and her inuendos are obvious and sophomoric.

Originally PG's distinguishing traits were that she was feisty, moody and testy, though these were balanced with more positive traits which other characters shared. I her own title she mellowed into a more positive persona and kept her basic strong and independent character and played up the positive traits. What can I say? She's heroic. And sexy!

She's a comic character - they can just draw her boobs bigger. Artistic license allows it. The present WF artist (Perez) customarily draws boobs smaller. They were drawn bigger in Mr. Terrific.

I wasn't complaining about PG being a slut in the DCnU or about her costume coming off. I'd like PG to have a costume like the one she and Terra wore when she visited Terra's home.

I love powergirl and whats going on in new 52. But people just don't take powergirl seriously. be it before new 52 or after.

The biggest complaint is that she lost her boob window. Face it, brother, Powergirl is just boobylicious and people just don't take her seriously. Theres nothing Levitz could've written to really hurt her reputation or character. So theres nothing to fix.

I wasn't criticizing anyone for liking PG for her boobs. But that is a focal point of her character. Unlike any of the other characters you mentioned.

Also, I don't like PG for her boobs. I am in love with every single Superman character and I buy all their boobs. PG is my least favourite superman character, especially since writers screwed her over by making her atlantean.

I prefer both Power Girl and Huntress to be rebooted on main earth like what was done post-coie when Huntress became Bertinelli and Power Girl also got a new non kryptonian origin. For new 52, just send the earth 2 Huntress and earth 2 Power Girl back to earth 2 so main earth's versions can come out. Even the Arrow tv show prefers the Bertinelli version which is more useful on main earth. For Power Girl's rebooted origin, I prefer her to be an earthling.
