Power Girl needs to work on hiding her identity.

Story: The story starts off with a little scene from Randall Mikavic's past as a child and his roaring arms success in the present. Now Power Girl is currently getting pulverized by him in his cyborg form. Power Girl calls Nick and asks for help and poses as Kara. She wants any bit of info on Mikavic as possible and being that Nick is an expert in nano technology he is the right man for the job. We find out that Nick went to jail for identity theft. Kara says that she is friends with Power Girl and that she is going to help her. Nick says he needs physical evidence so Power Girl brigns the big sphere where the bio weapon came from. As Power Girl waits for results she tries to fight him off. Nick calls back with info that C.R.A.S.H. which is what Mikavic is now, the bio weapon, is a bomb but doesn't blow up it just deactivates. He is there for 4 hours but Power Girl has him down for one more hour. So Power Girl just has to survive for one hour and he deactivates. The hour is up and Power Girl wins. But then all of a sudden a man shows up with a great big sphere of kryptonite that weakens Power Girl. He reveals that he is Max and takes Mikavic with him. At the end Nick figures out that Kara is Power Girl.
Writing: I really liked the writing in this issue. I love how Winick brings Maxwell Lord into this story but doesn't overwhelm it.
Characters: I love PG's character. I love her personality at work and as Power Girl.
Dialogue: Power Girl's dialogue is so funny and whitty. I love it.

    Art: Bold and great.
Cover: The cover was cool and I really liked the bold out lines of the characters.
Penciling: Basri is amazing. I loved Amanda Conner's work but this art work is amazing.
Coloring: I wanna say that it is vivid and it brings life to the fight scenes.

    My favorite scene!
It was definitely at the end when Max Lord showed up and took Mikavic away. That really shows that Judd Winick is a great writer and can connect two different stories without taking away from the other.

Reasons to and not to pick up.
    Reasons to pick up:
The story and the art is fantastic!
Reasons not to pick up: I have no reasons!
Verdict: PICK IT UP!!!! 5 OUT OF 5!!!!

Speedy Review:     This is an intriguing book.  I was on board, originally because of the creative team of Gray/ Palmiotti/ and Conner and secondly because of my love for Power Girl.  Now I am here because I love the story and the direction that Winick has taken the book.  The humor is here the great art is here, no not Amanda great but still great no the less.  The book has to tie into Winick''s other project Generation Lost and he promised that it would do so lightly and this months shocker go...

One problem after another for PG. 0

Its bad enough that Power Girl's company might be going bankrupt, but how do you stop an alien like cyborg from destroying New York? And thats not her only problem after its over.  Pros:  This issue focuses more on Power Girl trying to stop Crash from destroying New York. Judd Winick gives PG some more personality when it comes to her fighting Crash with the dialouge, the same goes with Crash. Besides using her strength to fight Crash, PG uses her brain when to find a weakness to him. There's a ...
