The Pokedex is a interesting scanning device that scans a pokemon and can tell what it is, including it's height, weight, Pokemon number, and even type. The Pokedex was invented by Professor Oak and is used by most trainers today. It is a complex, yet simple device and is used by putting the scanner near to the Pokemon. It is a good beginner device used to teach trainers the types and shapes of Pokemon. It can be use as a Pokémon Trainer’s identification card.

    Registered Pokemon by generation.
