Art for the first few issues was taken from the daily newspaper, strip with the same name started in the early 30’s, by famed American illustrator Harrison Cady (1877-1970), which is why the comic has such an old fashion look even though it started in 1947, in the fifties however everything was changed with Peter becoming a “cow-boy rabbit” and only the numbering staying the same.
