I was always wondering about that. I love how they pretty much completely ignored it, or refuse to acknowledge it.

I don't care about the character, but completely ignoring her altogether seems kinda lazy.

As I said above, I don't think Peter could do anything about it even if he wants to, he can't go back to that alternate future 'cus it never happened.

Maybe (though, going off what Back To The Future taught me, if he went back in time to the point before he prevented that future, he could go to right before the two went into the alternate future, and then go forward once more to the correct place. But he's not smart enough for that :P), but at least give her a nod. He had a thing for her, even a minute of dialogue concerning the character would do.

caitlynn was left two years into the future where a breakout happened, but as soon as peter caught that vile of the virus the future changed, does that meen that everything just changed around everyone in the future, or is caitlynn the only one that could notice the changes because she was probably aware of the time travelling and such, or does no one notice?
back in the regular present where peter is...if he waits two years or so will they eventually be living during the same time frame as future deserted caitlynn?
if on the day peter and caitlynn arived two years in the future, present peter (who would be alive and living in the non breakout future) was waiting at that excact part of new york where they arived would he meet up with himself and caitlynn when they arived?
if time is a continuous loop, and peter caught the vile changing the future, do peter and caitlynn arive in the outbreak future even though it doesnt exist anymore, if they arive in a non outbreak future, could there be a peter petrelli from the past living with caitlynn in the same time frame as regular present peter, if peter touches the peter from the past will he get his empathic mimicry back?

I think she probably vanished with the rest of that nightmarish future. However...it is possible that the timeline she was stranded in diverted into a tangent and still exists but is inaccessible to all Time Travelers. You'd need someone who can travel between Universes (like Proteus for example) in order to find that reality. But that task alone would be like trying to find a single grain of sand in an endless valley of dust.

lol.... so he really is just a heartless dog...he showed up in her life basically got her friends and her brother killed, and left her to rot in an inaccessible reality.... shed be pissed at him if they ever did meet up...i guess thats a good reason for tim kring, he could just say that no one on heros can travel realities, and even if there was you know he wouldnt be any good at it sense it is still heroes, so caitlyn is just gone, (a far off memory like a distant dream for peter)
