A fun series comes to an end

    The Good

The series was just plain fun to read and never took itself seriously dealing with sensitive topics like religion. It’s a pure comedy piece for male audiences and never tries to claim otherwise. We see throughout the series Danica the granddaughter of Lucifer runs a casino called the eternity offering ten thousand dollars for you to sell your soul to her. We see Danica hit on everything that walks and her friend Mary Magdalene who she saved from Purgatory keeping the business running and being her sage. This issue with Mary sacrificing herself to save Danica and others was very well done. Tom Hutchison new to comics did a great job taking jabs at heaven and hell without being as harsh as something like Preacher which can turn a lot of people off even myself while agnostic found something like Preacher to go a bit too far. This series doesn't intend to offend readers it simply presents itself as comedy piece about religion while being an enjoyable read that doesn't intend to insult a readers views intentionally.

    The Bad

If you’re a female comic book enthusiast this book really isn't for you. It displays women in a sexualized way without a lot of nudity (besides some covers) and makes fun of some stereotypes as well. It most likely won't offend you (you might even get a good laugh or two) but this book is definitely written for male audiences. The lead and most of the characters are female but it doesn't promote feminism in fact it mocks it in a way similar to the movie bitch slap.

    Overall

I got to give this 5 out of 5 because this issue as well as the entire series stays on target with what it is and doesn't try to be anything different then male entertainment.
