    IN ANIMATION:

During the 1980s Paul wrote stories for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe animated series by Filmation. Paul Dini created Harley Quinn in "Batman: The Animated Series" episode 22 "Joker's Favor," a character based on his friend Arleen Sorkin. Once BTAS was over he was working on Batman Beyond. He didn't want to kill her off so she became Granny Harley (Dee Dee's grandmother).

Montoya Renne was another creation on Paul Dini's that starred in B:TAS, but made it into the comic book genre as well.

Before working on B:TAS along side people like Bruce Timm, Paul made a name for him self while working on cartoons such as He-Man and Tiny Toons.

Paul Dini has recently written an episode of Batman:The Brave and the Bold entitled "Legends of the Dark Mite!", which featured Bat-Mite.

Paul Dini is also slated to work on the new Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon in 2012.

    IN COMICS:

His favourite character is Zatanna Zatara, the great magician from DC Comics. Dini is responsible for the infamous crisis in the DC Universe, which masqueraded with the name of Countdown: To Final Crisis. He wrote many beautiful masterpieces such as Mad Love and there were many Detective Comics that come to mind when hearing Paul's name.

Paul not only enjoys action packed comic like Batman, but he also enjoys to write funny comics. In fact he's the creator of Jingle Belle, a naughty little elf.

In mid-2009, Paul Dini began writing two new books Batman: Streets of Gotham and Gotham City Sirens. Streets was a re-continuation of Dini's work on Detective, and ended with issue 21. Sirens starred Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn and only lasted a short stint. After a few issues, he gave the title to another writer.

Paul Dini is currently writing the DC title Zatanna. He will also be writing a short mini-series tying up the story between the Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City video games before the game's release in October.

Despite writing Arkham City and Arkham Asylum he did not write Batman: Arkham Origins. He is currently a writer/producer on the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon and is writing the upcoming Disney film Maleficent.

    Video Games

Paul Dini has written the story for the video game Batman: Arkham Asylum. He has also been solicited to write the script for the sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City.

HIS LIFE: Paul is a huge fan of both magic and zoology. It's kind of ironic that his beautiful wife (Misty Lee) turned out to be a magician, seeing as his favourite comic book character has always been Zatanna. When Paul Dini isn't working hard on his cartoons or comics he's goofing off with his wife and "kids". Little Rashy and Super Rica are his children, ignore the fact that they are monkey sock puppets. Creating mischief with Little Rashy at his side, Paul manages to create a lot of comical adventures, which are more often then not, caught on tape.
