    Parasyte is a manga written and illustrated from 1990 till 1995. Parasyte centers around a young man called Shinji/Shinichi Izumi, who is leading a normal highschool life. Until a higher being decides that if the human population would to be slimmed down, the polution would decrease and earth would be a better place to live. And with that we see our opening scene, as spores rain down from the sky...
