The final battle continues, until Daedalus threatens to destroy the Earth with his power. Having no choice the Freedom Machine and allies...surrender. That's when Johnny Venture acts, dropping Deathboy upon the isle with a parachute. Who promptly obliterates every single person and object, including the island itself. Next Johnny gives Deathboy his reward...with a flick of a button, he sets off the bomb within Deathboy's chest. However, things are quite what they seem as...Gulliver awakes and finds that Deathboy's powers didn't disintegrate things, but rather teleported them to the "Otherworld". Back on Earth, Johnny Venture makes a speech letting people know that the superheroes are no more and it's now up to us humans to make the world better on our own.
