    THE DEAD OF WINTER PART TWO: Jane is forced to follow a lead that takes her to a dungeon of abused women being abused by the Fitzgerald family. Featuring interior art by Lee Moder, this issue also features cover art by creators Joe (Daredevil: Father) Quesada & Jimmy Palmiotti, plus variants by Amanda (JSA: Classified)Conner (w/Jimmy Palmiotti), Billy (X-23) Tan, and Lee Moder.

    Painkiller Jane tries to save several very young woman who have been torched sexually, cut up and sewn together. Lou Webber, Maureen Fernandez and Seth Hiller try to keep Painkiller safe as she goes through all kinds of pain in her attempt. There is a price on Painkiller's head and a hit man threatens to kill Lou's family unless he tells him where Painkiller Jane is.

    I can not believe it. 0

    I can not believe it but this issue is actually worse than the last issue.  Forget the horrible crimes that are dipicted in this three issue series.  Forget that the images are just for shock value.  There is no depth to this story.  Painkiller Jane is obviously suicidal in this book and the only reason given to put her on this path is the fact that she had to take her dog poochie to the vet and have it put to sleep.    If you read my last review in issue one you will know what I'm talking about...
