I really hope that this one will be different.

The 3 movie were boring like hell. It was only "explosion" and this bad actor that is shia labeouf. And seriously i am still searching where the 3d is hiding in the third movie.

Yea but there is plenty more bad guys in the Transformers Universe. For instance Unicron and his harbinger Galvatron also good guys like Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus should be introduced

True, but with megatron dead, how would galvatron be introduced? Unicron? not sure if bay could handle a planet sized robot. Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus would be good if it meant that Optimus Prime stays dead in the fourth movie.

Galvatron was created by Unicron using the remains of a dead Megatron. I REALLY wish Bay hadn't signed on for the next film but if there is one thing he's good at it's affects

Mike made a great mvie out of the crap they had for the third movie, when you read the script (my friend and I did) you'll be like ''WHAT IS THIS SHIT???'' but when you see the movie you are like, ''this was okay, needs megan fox to be better'', I think none will be as good as the first

OH I FORGOT ABOUT THOSE GUYS !!! Unicron and Rodimus are totally awesome *---*, I don't remember well Ultra Magnus .-. and I have a personal opinion none of you has to read.... Megatron has died a couple of times but EVIL ALWAYS RISES, he'll come back cause no matter how many bad guys there could be, Megatron is ultimate evil for the autobots, if he comes back they'll need to be careful about the how and probably give him a completely different look

All three were some of the worst examples of movie writing and movie making of all time, but the last one was truly an abomination upon all things cinematic. It was abhorrent.

Michael Bey has a ton of pull in Hollywood. If he thought they needed a better script, he could have gotten a better script. He just has no respect whatsoever for the material, so he doesn't care if it's a slap in the face to anyone who cares about Transformers, or even movies in general. He's the Rob Liefeld of movies, he has no talent and doesn't give a damn about story, he just throws fast-moving sparkly things at the camera.

I am not against making a reboot of the Transformers movies. Think about it: all the three movies had the same plot - Decepcticons want power source, Shia LeBouff has this power source and the Autobots had to protect him; The humans take the spotlight while what we want to see is giant robots fighting. They are the same movie over and over again and rebooting it is not a bad idea. In other hands, Michael Bay should not direct it for two reasons: he is a asshole who ruined the Transformers movies and if you want to reboot a movie series you shoudn't have the guy who ruined it in the first place behind the direction again.

I think Bay should just roll with his strengths on this one: don't just drop the human characters, drop any attempt at including a coherent plot (because, let's face it, those attempts haven't been particularly successful), and just give us two straight hours of giant, CGI robots blowing sets up, trashing each other, and dropping hardcore one-liners. Any humans that appear in the film should be fleeing for their lives and nothing more. Make the whole film a flagrant monument to shrieking, testosterone and transmission fluid-fueld rage. I'd see it eight times.

The movies were great with visual effects. The stories were okay, but could have been better. The female leads sucked and were nothing but eye candy. The male lead was erratic and needed to be medicated. The human/bot interaction was okay. A fourth film seems forced and with Bay on board who has said he doesn't understand the appeal of the Dinobots I don't see the next film going anywhere interesting. It has potential but I'll wait and see.

A better director yes, as for the old writers (Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci) who quite after Revenge of the Fallen, are the executive producers Transformers: Prime. So that tells you the problem wasn't them but Bay, who came up with those black stereotypes twins and the movie Studio making unnecessary changes.

Im angry that the fact Bay has been allowed to direct another Transformers movie,he is an idiotic ass hole who knows nothing about Transformers directing or making a good movie, couldn't he have just let another more capable director make a new Transformers movie ?

Make the movie about the characters that matter that we care about and why we all went to watch em the TRANSFORMERS until he learns from his mistakes and stops carrying on the way he is im not going to see TF 4

@NightFang: Either way, I'm just so tired of reboots. It's like repeating a class. I know what's going to happen, it's happened so many times before. Can't the story just move forward instead of getting back to say "Megatron hates Optimus Prime."

I mean, when people like my brother get confused about the Spider-Man reboot, it just shows that reboots baffle people more than get people excited.

You obviously have a different opinion, which is fine with me. But if you don't want me to continue speaking about my opinion, then don't quote me as if you want to have a conversation with me. These comments sections aren't only for positive comments, it's fine if people are critical as long as they're not trying to troll or antagonize people. I thought I was the only one who thinks that the Transformers movies needs to be different, with the same characters and the same movie continuity (sorry for my english) the stupid subplot of the parents, the hot chick, the neurotic Sam, the cheese humor of simons and the US soldiers saving the day, oh and the little cameo of the transformers... myabe this movies needs something else, not a reboot but may be other vision, other cast, other story and MORE TRANSFORMERS ON SCREEN!!!

Bay shouldn't be allowed near a movie set, for the most part he's a moron, bar one or two half decent bits of cinema. The Transformers and Decepticons MUST to take center stage if there's another movie about them! But seeing as it's him, there's no hope.

It could be told as a "Prequel within a Sequel" kinda like Stephen King's THE DARK TOWER: WIZARD AND GLASS. They have covered some of the stuff in flashbacks, but I'd like to see a full-scale war film.

Are they using the same writing team? Because they have alot to do with the mediocre plot of the other movies. I am a transformers fan and I enjoyed the live action movies for what they are, live action summer blockbusters that have transformers in them. I would like to see more focus on the Transformers much like everyone else. I'd love to know how Bay is going to proceed with this series when he and his writers killed the entire Deception army, including all the major generals and the leader Megatron. Granted there are tons of characters they could use, but its not the same without Starscream, Megatron, Soundwave, Barricade, etc.

I'm not totally thrilled with Bay directing again, but its not the end of the world either. As long as the movie focuses more on the Transformers and not the new humans/Sam again I think it'll be fine.

I herd a while back that Speilburg wanted to direct the next Transformers

This would just be TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! THe problem with the Bay Transformers is that they were just treated as things and not alien lifeforms. I mean, Bumblebee couldn't talk...that said it all right there. Plus the Transformers were taking orders from the military? They were easily captured by the military in Part 2 or Part 3. That was just crap. The whole point of being Transformers and intelligent beings is their ability to be "unknown" and fight the battle right under the noses of the humans here on Earth. That's what Part 1 should have all been about. Setting up the origin behind the Transformers at least a little bit, and giving a better explanation for why they were fighting each other (the Autobots & Decepticons) here on Earth instead of somewhere else in the universe. Part 2 should have been about Megatron stepping his evil game up and revealing theemselves to the humans because they were now powerful enough to whip the humans out if need be. That would then force Optimus Prime's hand in allying, against his initial instincts, with the humans to coordinate taking down Magatron's plan. Part 3 would incorporate complex characters like the Constructicons, Insecticons, Areobots, Triple Changers, & Dinobots. We'd get to see Soundwave as a cellular phone (much better concept than yesterday's Walkman) with his Micro Machine like minions (such as Ravage, Lazerbeak, Rumble, Frenzy) as micro flash drives. Even have Blaster as his computer tablet counterpart. Then the ultimate two part final movie would kill off some characters and introduce the ulitmate film bad guy, Unicron! That's how the movies should be done! All of which being directed/produced by the super team of Steven Spielburg and J.J. Abrams.
