I've decided to start doing some of my own off my mind kind of like the staff do with their news sometimes. One I thought of is what happens to Optimus Prime's trailer go when he transforms? In pretty much every series when he transformers into a truck the trailer comes and just attaches to him and when he turns into a robot it just disappears. It's like it just goes off into some other dimension or something when he transforms. Not only that, in the DVDs for Transformers Animated, there are shorts and in one of them a bunch of kids are asking Optimus a bunch of questions and one of them actually asked him where his trailer goes when he transforms and he couldn't actually give an answer (which I found to be pretty funny because not even Prime himself has a clue what happens to it when he transforms). So what ideas do you all have about what happens to his trailer as he transformers?
Off A Fan's Mind: Where does Optimus Prime's trailer go?
" it goes into a interdimensional pocket....duh "Personally, this is the one I agree with most.
" I remember in Armada it becomes the lower part when he transforms into Super OM... "Yeah. And in Energon it contained those parts which would combine with him whenever he turned into Super mode. But in Cybertron, it just disappeared completely when he transformed and only appeared when he went into super mode or turned into his alt mode.
" @danhimself said:yeah I do remember that and they said that he didn't transform a lot because of the amount of and lack of energon that they had" @MrDirector786: but really it's like how Megatron turns from a giant robot into that tiny gun...no one knows "I think in the IDW series they said it was "mass displacement" where he got rid of a lot of his mass. It was in the Escalation arc. "
