    In the origin story of Youngblood, it was revealed that Knightstrike's existence was expose to the news networks when they took on a Guatemalan drug cartel. Operation Knightstrike's exposure forced Director Alexander Graves form a new replacement team of government sanction superheroes that would become Youngblood.
