Offset is a member of Shi'ar Death Commandos. A secret elite military unit composed of various alien warriors that come from within the entire Shi'ar Empire. Offset is one of the members who was sent to kill the Grey family in order to attempt to exterminate the Phoenix gene. Although successful in eliminating the majority of Rachel Grey's, they were ultimately defeated by the X-men in the ensuing battle and captured. In one of the alternate universes, she's also the leader of the Commandos, leading the group on a hunt to finding the Shi'ar empire's heir for capture, but she and Flaw, and Shell, were ultimately defeated by Psylocke, Gambit, Rogue, and others.
Offset was created by Chris Claremont and Chris Bachalo, and is a member of the Shi'ar Death Commandoes, character and team first appearing in Uncanny X-Men #467, 2006.
Powers and Abilities
Although the name of her species is unknown, she is shown to have quite the natural physical prowess. She has a large amount of agility and dexterity, allowing her to jump and flip to avoid attacks and close distance between her and her enemies. She often fights hand to hand or with knives. She also is shown to have a large amount of strength despite her nimble build, overpowering other people with super strength easily, as well as hurl a human dozens of feet with only two (of her four) arms. She also possesses very durable skin which was able to remain unmarked after receiving several point blank shots to the face by a police officer's handgun.
Some form of regenerating abilities also seem to tie in, as she was stabbed in the abdomen by Wolverine and Rachel Grey, and only moments later the holes were absent from her stomach. She also has shown that she has long, thin, and needle like spikes that protrude from her wrists at will, which can inject a venom that paralyzes her targets; the venom of which is potent enough to completely immobilize a mutant if the correct amount is injected. She also eats people.
