    Obi-Wan Kenobi was a Jedi Knight who was instructed by Qui-Gon Jinn and he himself taught Anakin Skywalker. Both Kenobi and Anakin fought in the Clone Wars which led to Anakin turning to the dark side and betraying the order. Obi-Wan hid on the planet Tatooine where he watched over Anakin's son Luke, whom he began training to be a Jedi, like his father once was.

    You know...because the carbonite thing has never been done before...oh wait. You know, because the show hasn't been awful before...oh wait. You know, because the show never rapes past continuity and forces unnecessary retcons...oh wait. We get more than enough from this clip and past shows to accurately judge. This Clone Wars series is an abomination and never happened. It's for retarded babies and is insulting it's actually apparently cannon. Not in my world!

    No, it's not. As fans we have the option to pick and choose. We make our own continuity crafted after our own preferences. Your definition is too narrow. This isn't Lucas's story alone, it's our story. We will forever and always have a say, despite what Lucas seems to believe, ergo he's now despised by a majority for ruining his beloved franchise in numerous ways. Oh and I'm well aware some people above the age of 5 like this show...they're called morons.

    Fair enough, you can concoct your own outcome. There's no law against it, but what you see in the show is what's happening. You can ignore it, but you're not doing a very good job. 
     
    It's his franchise, he can do whatever he wants with it, so stop complaining when you can come up with your own ending. 
     
    They're called human beings. Everyone has their own preference like you implied, they shouldn't be judged harshly because they have have different taste buds than you.
