Fisticuffs
While the last issue plodded along for a while, this one seems to hit full throttle for most of it. It's certainly not the most interesting fighting, and it still has its issues, mostly caused by the necessity of the Infinity tie-in, but hey, it's pretty fun while it lasts.
The dialogue is pretty solid here, especially for Speedball, despite him being the Iceman of the series. Justice is probably the weakest of the lot, with little to say or do generally, as I guess he's the responsible one or whatever. Nova's dialogue is still solid here, and we get a bit more development compared to last time, which is nice.
Yet, this book suffers from most of what the last issue did. The New Warriors references, the intergalactic dialogue that feels a bit off, characters that will disappear after this issue, and so on. The action may have been ramped up, but it doesn't do too much to make the conflict better.
This was a fun little story, but I'm glad we'll be getting back to the good ol' Nova stuff now.
