    The story began against the backdrop of the ongoing intergalactic war between the Shi’Ar and the Kree.  As Nova Prime once more, Richard Rider juggled the responsibility of trying to keep the newly formed and untrained Nova Corps alive in a war they were not prepared for, while trying to locate his younger brother, Robert.
