Northstar
Character » Northstar appears in 1779 issues.
Twin brother of Aurora, Northstar is the haughty mutant speedster affiliated with the X-Men, though he was originally a member of Alpha Flight. He is most famous for being the first openly gay superhero.
Did I miss something? Northstar and Hercules have slept together?
" Yes, Herc, a true example of a stereotypical ancient Greek warrior, slept with Northstar. This of course, happened off-panel somewhen. It was quite an amusing part of the comic. "lol thats kinda funny since herc is by no means gay. right??
he's a god
he can do whatever he chooses
you probably get bored with just one gender after a few hundred years of boning
The surprise occurs when Snowbird eyes the crowd suspiciously and says, “Now come. I know there are others in the crowd who should join us … don’t be shy” — causing an antsy Northstar to reply, “Is that the time? Gotta go!” before, well, going (at super-speed, naturally). You know, Northstar, the highest-profile gay character in the Marvel Universe.
The exchange is brief, casual and played for laughs, but it’s obvious what writers Greg Pak and Fred Van Lente are asserting — that the Marvel Hercules, like the Greek Herakles, was fond of women and young men. In case it’s somehow not obvious, Van Lente spells it out this morning on Twitter: “Clearly, Hercules and Northstar had a ‘team-up’.” So No!!! Herc and North Star did no hook up they just teamed up in battle.
" @Baddamdog: namor is probs just thinking thanks god Northstar did that now i wont have to say anything knowbody will ever know lol "Haha was thinking the same thing ROFL
Well mythical Herc was in love with Iolaus and mythical Loki transformed into a female horse to ccreate a distraction so Thor and Odin could battle a demon horse called Svadhilfari, Sval mounted him and Loki give birth to Sleipnir the 8-legged Odin's horse. So this is why Loki hats so much both Thor and Odin: they made him to transform into a female hore only to be raped and pregnant by a wild stallion.
O.O i really didn't need to know this....so why did i click on it
those freaky greeks they sheath their daggers in anything that moves
@joshmightbe: It anyone asks me (witch I know nobody wasn't) I would say it's still the norm to this very day
wait Herc swings both ways?
Yeah, I hear everyone was cool with that sort of thing in ancient Greece. Modern society could learn a thing or two from them.
