No'madd and his son, Taron, travel to the Ah'kee City to plan their defense against the dreaded V-or Armada. Their ally, the sorceress Thane, has a plan for victory...but her plan leads deep into the dreaded Path of Spikes.
Meanwhile, across the Sea of Storms, No'madd's village is besieged by the V-or's advance shock troops. With their hero gone, can anything counter the invaders brutal rampage or forestall the village's total destruction?
Will anything or anyone remain?
