    The Secret's Out

For me, the first half of this story was a mixed bag. There's been great character development in the last 2 issues but it left little room for the bigger plot threads to make any major progress. Still, I'm aware that certain things muct fall into place before the story can brogress smoothly. With any luck everything is set for chapter 3 to take the story forward.

    Plot

Fortunately, this issue does just that. From start to finnish, Rikki's high school conspiracy takes center stage as the race for student body president comes to a close. But more importantly, we find out what the Secret Empire has accomplished throughthe election and how it pertains to their master plan.
As for Nomad, lets just say her state of mind affects her actions later on in this chapter.  It's an interesting twist IMO.

    Art

Baldeon/Sotomayur's artowrk remains solid and consistant. They do a good job at capturing the mood in key moments.

    Wrap Up

Nomad #3 is a great chapter that brings the story to it's climax and has erased any doubts I had about the writing so far. These turn of events and cliffhanger ending have drawn me back into this story and I can't wait to see how it ends next month.
