Really people? Why wouldn't Logan be in the beginning with Kurt. Kurt and Logan are pretty much best bros. Kurt's been gone for a while now so why wouldn't his best friend help him get back into the swing of things. Only thing that would make it better is if Colossus joined them, reuniting the three musketeers again

You know what would be cool, Marvel? Instead of having a "Nightcrawler" book, why not a solo X-Men anthology: Nightcrawler out on his own for about 5 issues, then a 3 issue Storm story, followed by a 4 issue Iceman, etc. Sure, there can even be a second x-character in the "solo" stories from time to time, but this would be a great way to spotlight a lot of different characters. It could have a nice long run and you could even feature Wolverine from time to time if you want.

Indeed. It's one of the few extraneous titles wherein Wolverine actually belongs in a non forced fashion and without question.

Question his place in regular Avengers titles if you must. Question his prominence in one too many X-Books as well. Heck, you can question his need for two on going titles and various minis and I really wouldn't bat an eye. I might even agree on a few points.

But with regards Kurt's return, and penned by Claremont no less, Logan should totally be part of the series without question.

I just hope Claremont's writing ability hasn't faded over the years like (gulp) Frank Miller's...

I would actually love for him to become an ongoing character again without actually coming back from the dead. Like an "agent of heaven" style return where he's a swashbuckling pseudo-ghost.
