    Movie wise I could care less. In comics however I'm not a big fan of the Ultimate Universe anyway, so make mine the original.

    It's going to be weird for people who get into comics after the Iron Man/Cap/Thor/Avengers movies all come out. They'll pick up a comic, and see that (616) Fury is a grizzled white man of over 100 years, rather than Samuel L. Jackson.

    Yeah, Samuel L. Jackson has a 9-movie deal with Marvel. He will be Nick Fury for all Marvel movies in the foreseeable future.

    I voted Caucasian, but I wouldn't mind seeing a Mexican Fury or an Asian Fury as long as he's aboard the rainbow train.

    Sam Jackson Fury is non comic land and the movie does not effect the comic.
     
    I like Sam in the role its a cool spin, But I also like Nick in the comics so im just happy with both :D

    1610 Nick Fury is modeled after Sam Jackson.Ultimates is definitely a comic.

    Yes but there is no proof that the world that the movies are based on are from one comic, so it's easier to say that the movies are diffrent from the comic, EG Hulk in the current Movie was Green but in Ult's he is a dark grey. It does not mean that just because Sam is based on the Nick  on the 1610 world the movies are, But thats open to how you want to see it. Sam plays a character from the comic as do all the other cast but that does not make Movie world Cannon or a story in comics does it? nor does it effect the comic in anyway. it's a diffrent media, hence the point!

    I wouldn't have a problem with it if he actually played Nick Fury. The reality is that he's still just playing Jules Winnfield with an eyepatch and shaved head. Maybe a dash of Augustus Gibbons, who is Jules Winnfield with a scar on his face. I am just really tired of seeing Sam Jackson play the same role in every movie he's in, and he has been given a 9-movie deal where he will be playing the same character throughout.
