Judah returns to Ylum only to find Nexus doing his best to follow in the footsteps of Elvis Presley in his later years. The implant and constant use of drugs are taking their toll and nothing he, Dave or Sundra say has any effect. Meanwhile, the Sov leaders send their master assassin Twilly to Ylum on a mission to kill Nexus, and Mezz picks up the ancient Ylumite instrument that eventually launches his music career.
