This is the final issue of the first mini series. The A.P.N.G. stands ready to face off one on one with Sly as he prepares to attack them with all his robots and powers.
Sean’s nightmares start the issue, with visions of Sly and Metalmites chasing he and Chris down alleyways. He awakens in a sweat, comforted by his brother, as his parents watch from the hallway, realizing the time is drawing ever closer to their powers developing.
On Zaadar-3. the A.P.N.G. begins their attack on Sly’s horde of machines as they continue to grow bigger and stronger. They do well until the individual parts they are destroying begin to reform together and become a colossal new creature which grabs hold of all of them. At this point Sly enters the battle attacking them.
He attacks them with an electromagnetic surge which causes their nanos to deactivate suddenly, painfully reverting them back to their human forms. Sly continues to press the attack, pounding on them, leaving Roboduck the only one able to fight until he is quickly taken out of the battle.
As Sly prepares to land the killing blow on the members of the A.P.N.G., Gabriel appears in a blinding flash ready for battle. He releases his new invention of the nanoglove, which quickly affixes itself to the members of the A.P.N.G., giving them back their abilities and getting them back into the fight.
Sly and Gabriel begin to battle high above them, both throwing energy blasts, machines and hand to hand blows at one another.
The A.P.N.G. below uses the power of their nanogloves to take out the monstrous creature that Sly created that previously had taken them down.
Gabriel and Sly continue to fight high above and in the end Gabriel uses the nanobots in his body as a weapon, sending them out from inside him and using them to finally defeat Sly, and send him back to the Underworld.
