And the Mansion takes it again...
No one likes a hipocrite and that's exactly what Simon Willians has become: used to be a star (at least in Hollywood), he has never been more than a supporting role member of the Avengers (please don't misread or misunderstand my words, I'm saying that he was never a leading role material in the Avengers, even when he was in the West Coast or had his own title, and I'M NOT SAYING THAT HE ISN'T ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL BEINGS IN EARTH, ok?), so after a long time in oblivion (since Disassembled) Simon shows up in Avengers # 1 of the Heroic Age, saying that he's against the team assembling once more and that all that's bad it's the Avengers' fault - I really didn't liked that premise back then (more than a year ago) and I still don't like it now, especially that in order to prove his point (that heroes shouldn't decide the world's fate, leaving that matter to the authorities or governments established like a democracy) he does exactly the opposite: gather around a bunch of long time no see heroes (that's at least one of the good feats of this issue) and leads them on a rampaging assault against the New Avengers - so, even the fact that the idea isn't very appealing and that we'll have to wait 'till at least February of 2012 to see the conclusion of this story in Avengers Annual # 1, the quality level of the art and the massive degree of action, punches, raw power unleashed totally pays off acquiring this issue.
